From Hello to Heirloom
Here's exactly what it looks like to work with Film House Weddings — from your first message to the moment you watch your film for the first time.
You Reach Out
Fill out a short form and tell us about your wedding — the date, the venue, your vision. We read every single inquiry personally. No bots. No auto-responders. Within 24–48 hours, you'll hear directly from Dennis.
What to expect: A personal reply — not a template — with a few thoughts about your day and a link to schedule a call.
We Talk
This is a relaxed 20–30 minute conversation — no pressure, no sales pitch. We want to hear about your relationship, your venue, the moments that matter most to you. We'll share what our process looks like and answer every question you have.
What to expect: To feel heard. You'll leave knowing exactly what working with us looks like.
We Make It Official
Once you decide you want to move forward, we'll send over a simple agreement and a deposit to hold your date. Our calendar fills quickly — especially in peak season — so we recommend booking as early as possible.
What to expect: A straightforward process handled through our secure booking platform. No surprises.
We Prepare Together
In the weeks before your wedding, we'll send you a personalized questionnaire to understand your timeline, the must-capture moments, and the people who matter most. We'll also connect with your planner or coordinator and arrive fully prepared.
What to expect: A detailed pre-wedding touchpoint that gives us everything we need to tell your story right.
Your Wedding Day
We arrive early and stay late. Two cameras, one team, zero distractions. Our job is to disappear into your day — to be so present and so invisible that when you watch your film, you're surprised by everything we caught. We don't direct moments. We witness them.
What to expect: A seamless, unobtrusive presence. You'll forget we're there. Your film will prove we were.
We Tell Your Story
Back in our studio, we comb through every frame. We choose music that matches the emotional arc of your day. We build a film — not a highlight reel, but a real, narrative-driven experience that honors what your wedding actually felt like.
What to expect: A full feature film (8–12 minutes) + a highlight film (3–5 minutes). Crafted with the full care and attention your story deserves.
You Watch It for the First Time
We deliver your film privately, so you can experience it together — just the two of you — before sharing it with the world. This is the moment we work toward. The one that makes everything worth it.
What to expect: A private viewing link and high-resolution download files. Your film is yours forever.

Common Questions
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 9–18 months in advance for peak season dates (May–October). That said, we occasionally have last-minute availability — reach out and we'll let you know.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes — we're based in Orange County, CA and Portland, OR, and we film worldwide. Travel fees may apply for destinations outside of California and the Pacific Northwest.
Do we get raw footage?
Raw footage is not included in standard packages but can be added. We'll discuss options during your consultation.
Can we choose our own music?
We carefully select music that fits the emotional arc of your film. You're welcome to share songs that are meaningful to you — we use them as a starting point and may incorporate them directly.
What if it rains?
We've filmed in every condition imaginable. Rain, wind, unexpected schedule changes — we adapt. Beautiful films happen in all weather.
